Bruce A. Thames
President, Chief Executive Officer
Bruce Thames joined the Company in April 2015 as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He was promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer and appointed as a member of the Board on April 1, 2016. Prior to joining Thermon, Mr. Thames was Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of TD Williamson in Tulsa, Oklahoma, a position he held since 2012. TD Williamson manufactures and delivers a portfolio of solutions to the owners and operators of pressurized piping systems for onshore and offshore applications. He joined TD Williamson in 2005 as Vice President, North America and also served as Vice President and General Manager, Eastern Hemisphere from 2010 to 2012. Mr. Thames began his career with Cooper Industries (formerly Intool), where he spent twelve years in various roles within the product engineering, marketing and operations groups. Mr. Thames then joined GE Energy (formerly Dresser Flow Solutions) ("Dresser") and served primarily as the Director of North American Operations and Product Director for Ball Valves globally for Dresser's Valve Group during his tenure from 2002 to 2005. Mr. Thames holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. Mr. Thames brings extensive leadership skills, international acumen, product innovation, operational experience in lean six/sigma and industry knowledge to the Board.
Jan L. Schott
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Schott brings more than 30 years of global financial, commercial and operational experience to Thermon, with a deep background across the energy verticals. Prior to joining Thermon, Ms. Schott served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of TG Natural Resources where she led several multi-billion dollar financings and oversaw the integration of a $3.0 billion acquisition. Before TG Natural Resources, Ms. Schott served as Chief Financial Officer of Texas Crude Energy LLC, where she managed the successful implementation of a new ERP system. Earlier in her career, Ms. Schott was Chief Financial Officer at Goodrich Petroleum Corporation (NYSE: GDP) and held various senior financial and accounting roles at APA Corporation (NASDAQ: APA). She is a certified public accountant and holds a B.B.A. in accounting from Texas A&M University.
Greg Lucas
Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer
Mr. Lucas has been promoted to the role of Chief Accounting Officer. Mr. Lucas has served as the Company's Vice President, Corporate Controller and has managed the Company's accounting and financial reporting organization since 2020, where he has been instrumental in driving process improvements and has enhanced the public disclosures in our quarterly and annual reporting. Greg has served as interim principal financial officer and principal accounting officer of the Company since April 2024. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Lucas was the Assistant Corporate Controller for BNSF Railway Company from 2019 to 2020, a leading freight transportation company. From 2017 to 2019, Mr. Lucas was the Controller of a region of Intertek Group plc, a global quality assurance provider. Prior to joining Intertek, Mr. Lucas served for seven years in various roles of increasing responsibility at L'Air Liquide S.A., a global leader in gases technologies and services for industry and healthcare.
Mr. Lucas is a certified public accountant and holds a B.B.A. from East Texas Baptist University and an M.B.A. from Texas A&M University.
Thomas N. Cerovski
Senior Vice President, Global Sales
Mr. Cerovski brings more than 25 years of energy industry leadership experience in positions ranging from engineering, product management, sales, business development, and business unit management. In this role, he will manage the Company's overall commercial organization and also spearhead Thermon's expansion into new geographic and end-use markets, especially with the Company's latest products and solutions. Prior to joining Thermon, Mr. Cerovski held executive positions with General Electric, Wayne Fueling Systems, Dover Fueling Solutions, and Trojan Battery Company. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science from Montana State University, a Master of Science from Purdue University and a Master of Business Administration from George Washington University.
Roberto Kuahara
Senior Vice President, Global Operations
Roberto Kuahara joined the Company in February 2022 as Senior Vice President, Global Operations. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Kuahara served as the Vice President of Manufacturing and Supply Chain, Continuous Improvement and EHS of SPM Oil & Gas, Inc., a subsidiary of Caterpillar, Inc. From 2011 to February 2021, Mr. Kuahara held various positions at the oil and gas division of Weir Group plc, including the Divisional Vice President of Vice President of Manufacturing and Supply Chain, Continuous Improvement and EHS until the sale of the oil and gas division to Caterpillar, Inc. in 2021. Prior to joining the Weir Group plc, Mr. Kuahara held various positions in the automotive manufacturing industry, including a division of the Toyota Motor Company. Mr. Kuahara brings over thirty (30) years of experience in global multi-site manufacturing operations. Mr. Kuahara holds a B.S. from Mackenzie University.
Mark Roberts
Senior Vice President, Thermon Heating Systems & Engineering
Mark Roberts joined Thermon October 2016 as Senior Vice President of Global Engineering and Project Services. Prior to joining Thermon Mark served as VP, Executive VP and ultimately President of Audubon Engineering.
During his 35 year career in the energy industry he has held executive and management positions within Technical Sales, Business Development, Engineering and Business Unit Management.
Mark holds a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
David Buntin
Senior Vice President, Thermon Heat Tracing
David Buntin joined Thermon January 2017 as Senior Vice President of Research and Development, and in May 2019 was promoted to Senior Vice President, Thermon Heat Tracing. David brings over 20 years of experience in the development and commercialization of new products and technologies to Thermon.
Prior to joining Thermon, he served as Chief Operating Officer for Enovation Controls where he led a global multi-disciplinary team for a company that provides instrumentation, displays, controls and fuel systems for natural gas engines and compressors.
Before joining Enovation Controls, David served as the VP of Engineering for Secure Logix and in various Engineering roles of increasing responsibility with Southwest Research Institute.
David received his bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Baylor University and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
Candace Peterson
Vice President, Human Resources
Candace Peterson joined Thermon in January 2017 as Vice President of Human Resources. Prior to joining Thermon, Candace was the Senior Business Partner, Global Sales and Services for TD Williamson, a global solutions provider to the owners and operators of pressurized piping systems for onshore and offshore applications.
In that role, Candace led a diverse HR team that was responsible for designing and implementing people strategies that aligned with the company's five-year plan. Candace held several Human Resources positions of increasing responsibility during her ten year tenure at TD Williamson and was instrumental in building talent development programs and implementing an HRIS system.
Before joining TD Williamson, Candace served as an HR Generalist for the Salt Lake City School District.
Candace received her Bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University in Orange, California.
Ryan Tarkington
Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
Ryan Tarkington joined the Company in February 2019 as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. Prior to joining the Company, from 2011 to 2019, Mr. Tarkington served in various capacities with several international companies in the offshore drilling industry, including as Senior Counsel for Rowan Companies plc from 2017 through 2019, as Associate General Counsel for Paragon Offshore plc from 2014 through 2017 and as Senior Counsel for Transocean Ltd. from 2011 through 2014.
Mr. Tarkington began his career at the law firm of Vinson & Elkins L.L.P. Mr. Tarkington holds a B.A. from Rice University and a J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law.
